The Solo Singing Department at the Conservatory was founded by such performers as People's Artist of the USSR S.K. Kiizbaeva, People's Artist of the USSR B.A. Minzhilkiev, People's Artist of the Kirghiz SSR V.I. Mukovnikov, People's Artist of the USSR K.S. Sartpayeva, People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic E.T. Nurmanbetova, Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic L.A. Georgieva, and People's Artist of the USSR T.S. Seytaliev. The first head of the department was People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic and Professor M.B. Temirbekov. Over the years, the heads of the department have included N. Alisherova, People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic and Associate Professor T. Zhakshylykov, Z.A. Sarygulova, S.Zh. Isin, and U.Zh. Imanaliev. The current head of the department is T.S. Beisheev, a graduate of the Conservatory and soloist at the A. Maldybaev Kazakh National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Throughout this period, the department has welcomed new faculty members. Young faculty members find understanding in wise mentors who help them master the specifics and specifics of professional excellence necessary to successfully address the department's mission.
All faculty members conduct classes professionally, continually enhance their teaching skills, and regularly undergo professional development. Drawing on their accumulated experience, the department staff conducts teaching, research, and educational activities in accordance with the standards and traditions of the Conservatory.
Graduates of the department are in demand and successfully work in all areas of culture, including music institutions, educational institutions, concert organizations, radio and television, philharmonic societies, and theaters. Students receive specialized training. A series of individual lessons provides them with the professional knowledge and skills necessary for successful independent work related to the development of current issues in music education and musical culture, past and present. Thanks to their studies at the Conservatory, our students demonstrate their mastery of performance, their ability to reveal the artistic image of the performed works, the ability to teach aspiring musicians, instill a love for beautiful aesthetics, a love for music and art in their teaching and performing activities.
